Fields of Law
The legal profession is widely mistaken for being limited to courtroom appearances and defending criminals. In reality, the legal profession encompasses a vast subject pool and areas of practice. Sometimes, lawyers begin their careers in one field, only to branch out to do something different in their later years. This can be because that field was the opportunity that was most readily available to them after law school, or due to a conscious decision to move away from a field of the law.
However, some lawyers know which area suits them from the very beginning of their legal careers. This article aims to describe the diverse fields of law that you will study in law school and can take up as a career path.
