How do I appear for the LSAT—India 2022 and other law exams?

What is LSAT—India 2022?

Before appearing for the LSAT—India exam, it is highly significant to familiarize yourself with the method and format of the test. LSAT—India is an entrance exam that enables students to get admission in the top private colleges of India. A superior score in the LSAT—India exam increases your chances of getting into a top-tier law school. The exam is conducted by The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate level courses.

How is LSAT—India exam different from other law exams?

LSAT—India is a uniform and standardized test that has a single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses, three-year LLB course or LLM course. On the other hand, other entrance exams may have separate question papers for candidates appearing for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The format for the test has not changed since its inception in 2009 while all other tests have been making some or the other changes to their test format; thus making it easier for you to prepare well in advance without worrying what changes may happen in the test format.

LSAT—India tests your essential critical reasoning skills rather than your rote learning or ability to remember dates and places of current affairs. No Maths questions make it possible for aspirants from all streams to appear for the test without having any disadvantage.

The test is not speeded test allowing enough time for test takes to analyse the case studies and reading comprehension passages. With no negative marking either, test takers can take calculated risks just as they will take in their professional and personal life.

Most importantly, it is conducted twice a year and on multiple slots on multiple days to allow law aspirants to appear for the test when it is most convenient for them and even appear twice if they wish to improve their test scores. The rest of the tests in India are conducted once a year and mostly on a single day and single slot leaving no opportunity for aspirants to choose from.
